Trahana is a wheat product that is eaten throughout Greece and the Eastern Mediterranean and is usually added to soups and stews, and is also eaten as a porridge.   This is a really easy breakfast dish that can be whipped up in a few moments and perfect for people that love a high carb start to the day or a warming dish for the kids.

Trahanas Breakfast Dish

  • 1/4 cup Olympian Trahana
  • 1 cup Water
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 1 pinch Salt (optional)
  1. Boil Water in saucepan, adding pinch of salt if required.

  2. Add Trahana and reduce heat stirring frequently. Until water evaporates.

  3. Add milk bring to boil stirring frequently.

  4. Cover saucepan with a lid and set aside for 5 minutes before serving
